ZGM is excited to announce participation in the Smart City Expo World Congress 2023 in Barcelona! This highly-anticipated event is scheduled from November 7th to 9th at Fira de Barcelona and promises to be an incredible gathering focused on smart urban solutions and the future of cities.
Under the theme “Welcome to the New Urban Era,” this edition of SCEWC is expected to be the biggest yet, with a 55% increase in exhibition space and a 20% rise in attendees compared to previous years. We can’t wait to join over 1,000 exhibitors, more than 25,000 professionals, and representatives from 800 cities across 140 countries in Barcelona.
The lineup of speakers is impressive, featuring experts like Alyssa-Amor Gibbons, known for her expertise in green design; Micaela Mantegna, a legal practitioner specializing in AI; and Claire O’Neill, a renowned sustainable development expert and former UK Minister for Energy & Clean Growth.
The congress will cover a wide range of topics, including Mobility, Energy & Environment, Governance, Living & Inclusion, Economy, Infrastructure & Buildings, Safety & Security, and Blue Economy.
We are particularly excited to explore the exhibition floor, which is fully booked and will showcase the latest products, solutions, and projects from industry leaders like Aramco, Cisco, Dell, Mercedes-Benz, Microsoft, Smart Ports: Piers of the Future, as well as countries and cities such as Brazil, China, Estonia, France, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Nordics, Poland, the USA, and more.
In addition to the main event, there are three co-located events—Tomorrow.Building, Tomorrow.Mobility, and Tomorrow.BlueEconomy—that will provide specialized insights into construction, transportation, and maritime opportunities for coastal cities.
