Adobe Brings Photoshop to Mobile with Free and Premium Offerings

Adobe (Nasdaq: ADBE) has announced the expansion of Photoshop to mobile, launching Photoshop on iPhone today, with Android support arriving later this year. This marks a significant shift in digital creativity, making Photoshop’s iconic tools—such as layering, masking, and Firefly-powered Generative Fill—more accessible than ever in a mobile-friendly design. With both free and premium options, the new app is designed to meet the needs of both seasoned professionals and a new generation of digital creators who work on the go. The mobile app provides the flexibility to edit anywhere, capture ideas instantly, and work seamlessly across devices, offering unparalleled creative potential in the palm of your hand.

Adobe is also introducing the new Photoshop Mobile and Web Plan, delivering advanced image editing and design capabilities across mobile and web. This includes precise selection tools, expanded AI-powered features, enhanced color correction, and full-format support for Photoshop documents. Seamless integration between mobile and web enables creators to work fluidly across devices, making the process of designing and editing more intuitive than ever. Updates to Photoshop on the web now include an improved user interface, direct integration with Adobe Stock’s vast library of free assets, and expanded browser support, including Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.

For the first time, Photoshop’s power and precision are available in a free mobile app. Users can combine and blend images with core Photoshop tools, use the Tap Select tool for quick edits, and take advantage of advanced AI-powered features like Generative Fill. The mobile app integrates with other Adobe creative tools such as Adobe Express, Adobe Fresco, and Adobe Lightroom, offering a seamless creative experience.

Photoshop on iPhone is available today in the Apple App Store, with an Android version set to launch later this year. The free version includes robust features, while premium upgrades are available through the Photoshop Mobile and Web Plan for $7.99/month or $69.99 annually. Existing Photoshop paid plans will now include access to Photoshop on mobile, providing even more flexibility for creative professionals and enthusiasts alike.
